Amplifide Classics: Pause (February 2008)

Note: From this post, forward (in time), all the mixes are split into numbered and labeled tracks. Some of them are mixed and recorded with actual turntables and mixer, and the newer ones are mixed live in Tractor 1.0. Old school!   :)))

Pause Mix (February 2008) was recorded on the turntables. One can tell this because of the ridiculous volume at which the mix was recorded. The whole mix is like one big clip (if you don't know what that means, you probably wont even notice what I'm talking about) but this is one of the mixes that marked the time in my life when I really started studying beat matching. The mixes are still rough but I was beginning to understand the concept of beat matching electronic dance music.

This mix includes music from Solar Stone, Maor Levi, DJ Shah (before he got huge and changed his Alias to Roger Shah), Shiloh, Max Graham, Jose Amnesia, Kyau and Albert, Dousk, Oakenfold, and Filo & Peri. Influences weighed in heavily from Thrillseekers Nightmusic 2 album, and Armin Van Buuren's A State Of Trance 2007 mix.
