This is a mix done for the A State Of Trance Episode 450 Bedroom DJ Contest in which the winner receives the unbelievable honor of having their mix played on the air during ASOT 450's radio broadcast at the beginning of April.
The rules were simple. A one hour mix of the best tracks and mixing talent you could muster. Convert to 190 bit rate MP3 and upload with the track listing! Of course being my usual self, i waited until the last minute to upload. Hey, maybe that will put my mix right on the top of the pile!!
I decided that instead of mixing all new tracks as most people were doing im sure, I would take a selection of my favorite new tracks and old tracks and mix them together in a fast style of mixing. The emphasis is not on letting the entire song play like in the TranceMissions, but rather to show skill in mixing and closeness of key.
I decided to use the name Tour De Trance as a once a year mix that will encompass a selection of new and old tracks meant to create a euphoric grand tour of Trance music.
